Introduction to CAGE-seq Achievements

An example of analyzing the expression profiles of mature miRNAs and primary transcripts.

We introduce examples of significant contributions to FANTOM, which has developed and expanded around the field of transcriptome analysis. At FANTOM, we analyzed the expression profiles of mature miRNAs and primary transcripts in numerous primary cultured cells using short RNA-seq analysis and the CAGE method. Furthermore, the CAGE method revealed these promoter sequences. As a result, we demonstrated that miRNA promoters are highly conserved, there is a strong correlation between the expression profiles of mature miRNAs and primary transcripts, and there is a strong correlation in the expression profiles among multiple miRNAs derived from the same primary transcript. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
